Ah yes...​The classical marketing use of the *.​
If you were paying attention, you might have wondered why the headline at the top of this page stated I "made more than $7 in sales" for my clients.​
Was that a typo?​
No.​
As a conscientious copywriter, I can't make outlandish claims like many of my colleagues.
I won't brag about making "more than $50 million in sales" or "increasing revenue by 1,000% in 7 days."
Even though I've made a lot of money for my clients...​
I didn't create their products or services.
I didn't buy their ads.
I didn't build their current customer base.

I didn't handle customer support.
​
And I didn't do any of the 3,765 things that make a business successful.
Unless you bring me on as a fractional CMO (which I no longer have the time to do),
I typically control one part of your sales funnel:
Driving traffic to your website through email and fostering engagement through content. ​
In other words, my writing brings in eyeballs...
That becomes traffic...
And hopefully, become buyers.

Seriously, I wish I could brag about the revenue increases I've made for e-comm brands, but I can't take 100% credit for doing so.
